Annapurna Base Camp Trek, located in the stunning Annapurna region of Nepal, is a trekker's paradise. With breathtaking views of the Himalayas and its vibrant culture, this trek immerses you in the natural beauty and rich history of Nepal.
The trek passes through lush rhododendron forests, traditional villages, terraced rice fields, high-altitude passes, and rushing rivers. You'll meet local people and learn about their customs and traditions.
The trails end at Annapurna Base Camp (4130m), at the foot of Mt. Annapurna (8091m), the 10th highest mountain in the world. Panoramic views include Annapurna South, Hiunchuli, Gangapurna, and Machhapuchre. Proper preparation and acclimatization are essential.
We start the trek by taking a private vehicle from Pokhara to Nayapul (1.5 hrs). Trek along Modi Khola River, through forests and terraced fields, to reach Ghandruk (~4-5 hrs). Overnight at a lodge.
Continue towards Chhomrong through bamboo and rhododendron forests, crossing suspension bridges. Lunch in Chhomrong and optional village exploration (~6 hrs). Overnight at a teahouse.
Ascend through forests and small streams, passing Sinuwa and Bamboo villages (~5-6 hrs). Overnight at a teahouse in Dobhan.
Continue ascent to Deurali, near Machhapuchre’s base (~3-4 hrs). Overnight at a teahouse.
Reach Annapurna Base Camp, surrounded by Annapurna South and Hiunchuli (~5-6 hrs). Overnight at a teahouse.
Early morning excursion to Base Camp for sunrise, then descend to Bamboo (~5-6 hrs). Overnight at a lodge.
Descend through villages and forests, cross streams and bridges (~4-5 hrs). Relax in hot springs at Jhinu Dada. Overnight at a lodge.
Return to Pokhara via Nayapul (~5-6 hrs), private vehicle back to hotel. Trek concludes.
